- Confirm the deletion.

Account Deletion
You can request the permanent deletion of your Contact account and the data associated with it.

Without access to the app
Send an email to privacy@contactnearby.app from the address associated with your account.
Email subject: Contact account deletion request
In your request, include the email address or phone number associated with the account. Identity verification may be requested to prevent the fraudulent deletion of an account.

Data deleted
In particular, account deletion results in the deletion or anonymization of the following data:
- profile information;
- photos and interests;
- connections and preferences;
- groups, activities and participation records;
- messages and conversations;
- location data associated with the account;
- login credentials and account settings.

Processing time
Deletion is processed within a maximum of 30 days.
Some information may be retained temporarily where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, ensure the security of the service, prevent fraud or handle an ongoing report. It will be deleted or anonymized when the applicable retention period expires.
